Uganda surge to series win: road to the final – Team Recap

The tournament decider kicked off at the Ugandan home turf, Lugogo Cricket Oval, at Kampala, on Friday, July 15, 2011, and came as the 9th contest for the team. The hosts marked a competitive 6 wickets win over Namibia with just 14 balls to spare.

However, the team’s second loss came on the same day. In a contest with the Namibians, the hosts suffered competitive 19 runs defeat.
But the team, quickly recovering from the loss, displayed some tough batting display against the Nigerians and secured an adequate 8 wickets triumph that landed the Ugandans a place in the finals and a chance to prove their true might against the Namibians.
