Ugh, CONFUSED! Help?

Question

So, I'm texting my friend, who I'm going to the movies with tonight. I like her a lot, as more than friends. We're seeing the Dark Knight, and we were talking about how scary it would be:

Me: "There are some freaky scenes..."

Her: "And I'll cower in your shoulder if I pee my pants, haha."

Me: "Feel free to cower in my shoulder if you need to lol."

Then, she didn't respond. About a half hour later, I texted asking about the movie time.

Me: "So, 6:30, right?"

Her: "Yeah 6:30. And I'll take that into consideration. Haha."

So, does she like me or not? Why would she not respond, but then say that after I texted her again...?

she probably didn't know what to respond with! she was probably nervous and couldnt think of anything cute to say. Next time try to respond with something that you know she will be able to reply back with :)

Busy maybe or didnt hear the phone or feel if its on vibe

Seems like she's flirting but idk her so i cant tell ya if she always acts like that or not but she sounds kinda flirty

How old are the two of you? I haven't heard my teens use "cower"

sounds like friends just from that.  nothing in there to really indicate that she likes you for more than friends.
