So Im a girl and i have hair on my upper lip. I started shaving it when i was about 10 or 11.. i'm now going on 16. I'm really scared that it's noticeable and i KNOW it will become worse as i get older. I have to shave every morning which is also a bother... Laser is a little to costly at my age. Im really really self-conscious about this. I dont want to let it grow longer then a day because it's too noticeable.. does anyone have any advice on what i could do ? :(

  1. Sally Hensen makes a great product - a creme hair remover for the face.  It is wonderful.  It takes about 5-8 minutes, and lasts for a week or so.

Also, there is waxing.  The hair will need to be a bit longer, so you may want to consider bleaching it as it comes in so it's not as noticeable.  Truthfully, the waxing HURTS and the creme is just as effective.  I've done both and really lean toward the creme.

  2. Can you get it waxed or threaded.  This way it won't grow in so stubly.

  3. try waxing it, the results will last longer

  4. Have you tried waxing?

  5. Get it waxed. It won't be stubbly, and you can get it done professionally at a salon for $10-$15 dollars, or you can get a home kit like this one:

    It's $8.00

  6. Try waxing your lip, it will last longer... you only need wax about once a week or even less.  Also there are creams, with Aloe and Soy in them, that supposedly slow down the regrowth of hair.

  7. Sally Hansen facial wax strips. They're about $5.00 at your local grocery store in the face wash/lotion/soap section. I use them about once or twice a month and I swear by them! It will make your hair grow in finer and finer the more you use it. It won't completely eliminate hair, but using it once or twice a month at 5 bucks a pop as opposed to shaving every day is totally worth it!

  8. oh man... you never shave your face... didn't your mama teach you that.  You could get waxed... which is what I do, or you could buy Nair Cream for your face and use that as often as you like.

  9. Waxing is the solution like the others here say.  It takes longer to grow out and when it does it comes out finer.  I like the sally hanson strips too.  I use them for other facial parts too.  I used to get my legs waxed a lot.  After years of waxing I the hair bulb dies out and I din't need to do them much now.  It will sting at first, but not bad.  The results are great.
