Ugh! its like a sauna! what can i do to cool it down?

my room is so hot! its icky! we have no a/c I have my ceiling fan on, another fan on and my window is open for the breeze but its still WAY to hot in here! what can I do to cool it down a bit!?!

Take a wet hand towel and place it in the freezer for about 5 minutes and place it around your neck. You can put it in a kitchen trash bag to keep things from getting wet.

Cross ventilation.  Put your fan so it blows either out or in, and then open a window or door on the other side of the room.  The idea is to move the hot air out of the room.  

Ceiling fan works for breaking up the thermal inversioin above the window line, but wihout moving the air in and out of the room, it's just turning the place into a convection oven.  

Cool towel on the neck is a great idea.  So is going to a friends house, shopping, or the library,,,, where the AC is on.

Put a fan in your window, I remember when I was young. My uncle had this fan that really blew.and it went both ways, The stores have window units , but you need to measure to see if it fits. If you have two windows you can put a intake and exhaust.Stay Cool..
