Ugh real problem please help!?

okay so im going on holiday to Holland soon but the problem is that i me somebody on the internet who lives in Holland and he wants to meet me. I know he is real because ive seen him and heard him and he is the sweetest guy i have ever met but he is 17 and im 13. I really really don't wanna meet up with him but he is so sweet that i can't bring myself to say "i don't want to meet up with you" is there any excuses i could use?

just say u will be busy and wont have enought time to see him as your family has planned a lot to do on the trip.

Tell him you got grounded for sneaking out and your punishment is not going to Holland.

Or you could say your "aunt" died and the funeral is on the day you go to Holland so you don't feel up to going.

I also want to add: If you're afraid to meet him I don't think you should be talking to him.

Your 13 no do not meet a 17 year old. NO way. I dont care who he is on the phone or internet. Dont do it. Tell him your parents said no. Or even your not going. Something. I dont want to hear about a girl disappearing in Holland.

Just be honest, tell him you are uncomfortable with meeting him and state that you like things how they are..  being friends on the internet.

You are 13, in a foreign country and meeting a stranger, if he cannot understand how that could put you in a precarious situation then he is a jerk.

I don't think you should make up any excuses...just be honest with him, tell him you're uncomfortable.  At the end of the day, unfortunately, he can seem really sweet, but when you meet him in person he could turn out to be completely different...you need to ask yourself why would a 17 year old wanna meet with a 13 year old...and its pretty weird that he's calling you his best friend when you haven't even met.

Tell him the truth. "I'm not comfortable with the idea of meeting you in person". The truth is better than a lie or an uncomfortable meeting.. . . way better.

If your going with your parents tell him your parents won't let you, or if your not tell him your not visiting the part of holland that he's in, or tell him the truth about meeting people over the internet and how you just don't want to deal with it. It's really creepy that your his best friend if he trys to find you call the police this shouldn't be happening bwtween a 13yo and a 17yo.

Good call! Like seriously I'm sure he's real but you dont know if he has a girlfriend, how he treat's girls in his school and so on. NO OFFENSE but a 13 year old wouldn't be hitting on a 9 year old right so it's weird that a 17 year old is hitting on a 13 year old.

I think you should say that your parents wont let you. If he says that he could keep it a secret then you know he means trouble so just be like no I'm not a liar!

Just tell him you can't because you have something to do. Don't be stupid. He may seem "all nice and sweet and cute" but 1. he might not be interested in someone that is 4 years younger than him and 2. he could just be pretending that hes a cool guy, but may be a weirdo who might force you to have s*x with him or something. yah and why would he call you his best friend when you never met him? He's probably trying to lure you into his clutches.
