Ughh first day of high school

well i want to look good for my first day of high school i ws wondering if you had any ideas of what i could do with my hair i have hair like rihannas new short haircut and i ws wondering how i could make it really look like that and makeup i want my eyes to stand out their bluish greyish any ideas plz

I would say get a picture of Rhianna's that you totally love and take it in to you regular hair salon and tell them to make you look like the picture.  I have the same hair cut and I tool mine in to my stylist with front and back views and it came out awesome.

that's just stupid why would u do ur hair for the school ....THATS just STUPID i mean ur not going to wedding!!!!! or party or something and makeup ...omg why???? you r too young to put makeup!!!!! u will look like 80 years old woman in makeup!!! just be ur SELF!!!!! no need for all that **** u wana put on ur face or do with ur hair ....

honostly, speeking as a senior, nobody realy cares about any of that stuff anymore. People start maturing and realizing that stuff doesn't matter. I would say, especialy in high school, you don't want to stand out, it attracts attention you don't realy want. Just be you, dress comfortable, don't try to look like someone else. By 10th grade, sweat pants become a fasion, so it's all about comfort now. the days of dress up are over.

Honey: I wish my first day of high school were coming up. You're about to enter the last 4 years of innocent life. Enjoy it, have fun and do well. A good education is the only way to get anywhere today.

When I was in high school back in the ancient late 1960's, girls didn't wear make up. It was too establishment. Long straight hair parted down the middle and mini skirts were the trend for girls. Ths shorter the skirt, the hotter you were. For guys the longer your hair was the more rebellious you were. Bell bottom pants and Guruh shirts were the the trend for guys. We all wanted to be hippies protesting the Viet Nam war. I was actually a Junior in high school for the first and original Earth day back in 1970. All classes were cancelled and we had marches, referandums to go to and save the earth was the theme. Those were the days. No one would even think of bringing a gun to school other than a water gun and we smoked cigarettes in the bathroom instead of pot. We smoked pot after school and on the weekends.

It may not seem like it, it sure didn't to me at the time, but high school were the best 4 years of my life. Not a kid anymore, not yet an adult, somewhat of a confusing time emotionaly. You're kind of stuck in between.

Don't worry too much about how you look. On your first day the chances are everyone will be hanging out with their own friends and too nervous to talk to anyone else.

Otherwise, bangs (or fringes depending on where you come from) always look good pinned up or swept to one side. Long hair looks best in curls, shoulder length hair looks best straightened but the popular groups have there hair brushed back into a pony tail but that draws a lot of attention to their faces.

Blue/grey eyes look nice with brown eye shadow for the natural/dramatic look - depending on how you put it on. Blue/grey eyes can also look nice in the grey smokey colours. To add emphasis to your eyes use black eyeliner, or "strong" mascara.

Other than that just remember to be yourself, and don't worry too much about how you look.

Most people when they hit high school are over "looking good". Just put on something decent that isn't ratty and doesn't make you look like a w***e, and focus on your SCHOOLWORK!!!
