Uglies? What happens at the end?

Question

I haven't had chance to read the book the Uglies by Scott Westerfield so can someone tell me whether Tally chooses her friend Shay or to turn pretty or something and how courage played a part in it all. This would be very much appreciated.

She chooses Shay by getting herself turned pretty so they can try out a new cure on her for prettiness. She wants to save Shay and the others so she sacrifices herself, showing courage. Very good, read it!!!!!! x

She goes into the city to turn "pretty" so that she can help the outsiders. They're awesome books, read them, please. Pretties is my favorite out of the series. I love Zane, but you won't meet him if you don't read Pretties!

i read it, but never finished the ending.

i hear she turns 'pretty' however. both tally and shay.

this is a book report, isn't it?? wow... you're a cheater noob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but yes, she and shay turn pretty, while david and his mom stay normal. this is my MOST FAVORITE BOOK SERIES EVER!!!! its so captivating, making you read till the end of the book!! :D
