Uh Oh Chongo gets the best odds for The Coral.co.uk Maidens
Uh Oh Chongo has won the best odds for The Coral.co.uk Maidens at Romford in England on Friday, April 20, 2012. A cash prize of £150 has been set for the hound, who wins the Grade OR event.
A total of six quality runners will be seen in action over the 400 metres flat race, which is scheduled to start at 19:46 GMT, and their names are as follows: Uh Oh Chongo, Wheelers Whisper, Bit View Tornado, Paddys All That, Run Softly and Big Dark Jack.
The bookies have rated Uh Oh Chongo quite highly, despite the fact that he has been unable to deliver strong results over the past few months. He is a very good runner, but victories have dried up for him in the recent past. He has a solid chance of breaking
the shackles this time around at Romford.
The P. Young’s trainee is a regular at Romford, thus he will not have any issues with the track conditions. His performances at this venue have been pretty decent, but he needs to push a little more in order to finish on top of the table.
In his most recent outing, Uh Oh Chongo finished third overall. He was not the favourite to win back then, but still managed to end up in a decent place. However, the disappointing thing was his inability to challenge the top two finishers in that race.
This will definitely discourage the punters, thus they might not risk a lot of money in his favour.
Today’s favourite hound is the son of Droopys Scolari out of Zina Marina and was born in August 2010.
The bookies also expect Wheelers Whisper to fight for victory in the race, despite the fact that he is not a regular in this class. His recent performances have not been bad, but things will be difficult for him at this level.
The D. Mullins’ trained runner has done a couple of trial runs at Romford and has managed to impress one and all with his speed. He is the son of Hondo Black out of Tullagha Belle and was born in April 2010.
It will be a difficult race for the rest of the hounds, as winning in this class is not easy at all.
