ok i was baking a cake and the whisk i was using gave off little flecks of rust or dirt. they were no bigger than vanilla bean flecks that you see in ice-cream. i tried to get as many off as i could and i was pretty successful. is it safe to serve this cake or should i discard of it?

  1. It shouldn't be a problem. The heat will kill germs... and rust won't hurt to much. If anybody asks, just say it's cinnamon.

  2. id avoid it, if it was rust you can get metal poisoning

  3. k like the user "mudstorm" says baking it would kill the germs on the dirt etc. but I REALLY believe that you shouldn't take a chance consuming a cake with rust particles in it. It could seriously give you rust poisoning
