What do I do? The little hole where its supposed to plug in has a teeny tiny dent, and now the chord keeps falling out.

  1. Unless you're into soldering electronics, I don't recommend fixing it yourself.  Plan a time to give it to a laptop repair place for a week, or send it back for warranty repairs if you still have it in warranty.

For the moment, all you can do is use electrical tape to hold it in place.  You can put duct tape over the electrical tape if you want it to stick better.  Sometimes if you bend a pin just a little bit, it will hold better too - assuming it has pins.  But make sure it's been unplugged from the wall outlet for at least an hour before you touch any pins.

Watch out that you don't cover any air holes with tape!  :-)
