  14. Click START -> SETTINGS -> TASKBAR AND START MENU -> Click START MENU tab -> Click CUSTOMIZE -> Click CLEAR to remove records of recently accessed documents, programs, and Web sites.

If that doesn't work, go to the Google toolbar and scrolldown to the words you used to search in the toolbar - make sure it's highlighted then press Delete on the keyboard and that should remove it.

  15. I'm going to assume you're using Internet Explorer.

Click "Tools", and then "Internet Options". Click "Clear Private Data" and "Clear History" and "Clear (or Delete, I can't remember what it says) Cookies". If there's something that says "Clear/Delete Cache", click that too.

    Click OK and restart IE.

If that didn't work, right click on Google toolbar and look for relevant options like "Clear recently typed queries", "Clear form data", "Clear form history", "Clear recent searches", et cetera. You could also just completely uninstall Google Toolbar and then reinstall it before your parents notice.

    Good luck.
