Maybe u've put this in a wrong section , but anyway im gonna answer u ..

I shave , there's no way i'd leave it long like that .. by keeping it long Germs will increase , espiecally when ur period is coming ..

So , what I know and heard about it , that its alot more heatheir to shave it , and never leave it like that ..

But still u hv 2 take good care of it !!

This isn't a riddle or a joke.

But, "downstairs" is how you want to keep it. Think of it as a lawn, some people like theirs trimmed short, some don't like to have any grass, and some like to have their grass extremely long and not taken care of. It's a personal preference really. Just remember, whatever you do, just take care of it.
