Uhh...tampon question?

Im 15 and have tried 2 tampons, one last year and 1 this morning. The problem-o is that I cant get the stupid thing in. I know you have to put it in until your fingers touch you then when i go to push the applicator in (this is kinda hard to explain but if you think about it you will get it) the applictor gets pushed out. Then the tampon basically just replaces where it was. I can not feel the tampon at all when i put it in, but it is almost "sticking out" (sorry for the details) Its pretty much right at the entrance, not like the cartoon on the instructions with the box is. Its almost like my-ahem-v****a is short? t still works properly but im afraid it will get really soaked because it is so close and fall out or something if i go swimming. Im going to a pool party tomorrow plus i swim A LOT so i cant just use pads for the rest of my life. So can you have a short v****a? Im actually only 4' 10" and done growing if that plays a factor at all.

When you are pushing the applucator up (the bottom part) you may accidentally be pulling down at the same time, if you understand my meaning.  You can use your fingers to push the tampon up some.

Although if I may make a suggestion-- I would try OB tampons.  They have no applicator and might be a better solution for you.  The way they work, you unwrap them and then use the string to open up the bottom.  You push it in your vaginal canal from the bottom of the tampon using your finger.  You push it in until you can't push it in anymore.  They are VERY comfortable, and unlike tampax they don't get longer.  I have a short cervix (I was measured) and Tampax is very uncomfortable for me (playtex works, but I still prefer OB), which is why I made the switch to OB.

well I'm ur height but that's normal when it gets pushed out u just have 2 hold in wen u push the tampon in

ah this a little hard to explain but when u feel the applicator get pushed out push it in again so that it pushes the tampon in more then continue to push it through the applicator until its all the way in

just keep practicing it took me about 5 times to finally figure it when i started using them
