k i had really bad grades my freshman year of hs and now im persuading myself to make straight a's this year (grade 10) and im going to apply for scholarships in grade 11. i need to know if i want to go out of state university but i get a four year scholarship .will that cover my tution?

k let me explain mroe clearly, for example:

say i live in california and i want to go all the way to wisconsin (cause my older bro lives there) for college but i have a four year scholarship too. will i have to pay for the tution or will my shcoalrship pay for it?

  1. The weird thing is that I used to live in California, and now I live in Wisconsin. If you do get the scholarship in CA, you have to ask the sponser if your scholarship is eligible at a Wisconsin school.  


  2. It depends on the type of scholarship. Some scholarships are limited to only state or public institutions, while others can be used at any college in the US. Just make sure before you apply and ask the sponsors of the scholarship if you're not sure.  

  3. It depends on whether or not your get a scholarship to the school in Wisconsin. Some scholarships are general, but most of the substantial ones are given by the school you are applying to.

    I hope that helps.

    BTW...going to school out of state will probably triple your tution, so you may want to keep that in mind also.
