idk what to do.

i have a %51 which is a F

and i need a %59 to get a D

my parents cant afford a tutor and i have almost no chance of passing.what are some cheaper tutoring place other then sillvan?

  1. You could try talking to another student either in your class or in a higher grade. They may charge but it won't be as much as the proper tutoring places as they are usually staffed by qualified teachers.

    You could also put a poster up at your local university/college asking for help.

    The poster doesn't need to be big just make sure it is well presented and provides the relevant details.

    These are probably the cheapest options. They may give you better results than a proffessional tutoring service as well as you will be being taught by someone closer to your age which may make you feel more comfortable.


  2. I'd suggest talking to your math teacher. They can arrange to meet you during studies or other free periods. Most teachers offer after school help. I did this. It really helped. I never had to stay after school, luckily. You also need to go over the book. Bring your book home everyday. You just need to work work work. Don't give up. I brought my average up from a 75 (C) to an 89 (B+) in 2 weeks. Good luck!
