I'm flying with Delta in the spring, and I'm going on all small planes. I'm flying on a Embraer RJ 145, Canadair Jets and A CRJ 700. Are these the best planes to travel on?And what are the seats/service/takeoffs/and landings like on small, short rides?

  1. They are fine...unless you are tall.

  2. there is no difference between smaller regional jets(CRJs, Embraers, etc.) and larger jets (boeing 7X7,airbus etc.)

only certain small issues exist and are only a problem if you want them to be:

-height. tall people maybe find walking about more difficult

-airport gates: you might not board aircraft through traditional gate aka jetway. instead, maybe from airstairs directly on the tarmac.

-Turbulence. some people claim turbulence is more strongly felt in these aircraft. Of course, there is a certain truth to it but trust me, ATC and pilots do their best to avoid it anyways.

-service is junk. you might get a drink or two and 1 snack which barely fills are 1st grader

-during Takeoffs and landings, you are closer to the ground because the aircraft is smaller and you feel like you are going faster.

they are the airplanes of choice to get to smaller airports and at a low price without any stops in between.

  3. The are a few differences.

The smaller jets feel faster on take offs and landings.  They are also more bumpy in turbulence.

They are newer aircraft than most, older airline aircraft are.

  4. It will be fine, just enjoy yourself.  It is much better than the big planes.

  5. just like s*x fast and jerky ha ha ha

  6. The small machines are all excellent airplanes, the crews are as good as any you will ride with, and you will enjoy your ride and feel safe and wise.

    Have a great trip!

  7. My condolences. Fly private jets!
