Uk Residents only?

Right im 15, Nearly 16 :) In june, My cousin said that i could apply for a NIN (National Insurance Number) I sarched it in google and all sites said they cost £40

I Really need this NIN Because i need work

But no1 impolys my because i dont have a NIN

They send NI numbers to everybody about 3 months before their 16th birthday

You only have to pay if you need a replacement, Your N.I.N should arrive withtin 2 - 3 weeks of turning 16.

You don't need to pay for them. It's something everyone gets (must get) to be able to work, tax purposes. They usually get sent to you in the post a couple of months before your 16th birthday. If you reach 16 and still haven't received it through post, than try ringing the citizes adivce bureou, CAB (sp?). Can't think of hand what other numbers you could ring.

You don't even need to apply for this card/number, it litteral just get's sent to you. You don't pay!
