Uk housing law question?

i live in a council house in the north east of england lately we have had trouble with a gang of teenagers we have been assaulted harassed and most recently a 17 year old lad threatened to stab my mam, dad and brother we have also been threatened to have our house burnt down. my dad has depression, asthma and high blood pressure his doctor wrote to the council recommending we move the police has also sent letters to council telling them what has happened but the council still wont give us a move even though my parents have lived here for 28 years is there anything we can do to get the council to move us.

  1. Write to the councilor for you area and also get writing to your mp to help you. If that doesn't work start writing to your local newspaper. I'm sure if you can get the help of your MP you should be good. But do everything you can if the council isn't budging!
