Is there a limit of how much they will pay a nursery per session? Can you go to a really expensive one and get it paid for?

  1. No, you don't apply for it or get it as a parent - the nursery applies and gets it for your child and they all get the same for each child per session, however much they charge. The nursery can then charge you a 'top-up' fee per child per session, depending on their fees.  The Nursery Grant is for a 2.5 hour session and if your child qualifies they are eligable for 5 seesions per week. If they stay longer most Nurseries will charge a 'top up' fee to cover the extra time.  Does this make sense? I hope so.

  2. depends on where you are every local authority is different because childcare cost vary around the country check your local authority

  3. it depends some nurseries have really good preschools like kinder haven in bradford which was voted 2nd best in the country! you should get a free 2 and a half hour session payed for you depending if you want your child to go to that school. you need to find the best place for your child to go as they are the most precious thing you have.

  4. depends on if you are a single parent.my friend is a single parent and she works 20 hours a week her son goes to nursery 3 times a week all day and she has it paid for.you need to contact the tax credits and they will explain to you what you are untitled too.good luck. p.s the nursery costs £25 per day.

  5. No there is regional limit,
