first of all i just have to say that i have been going on airplanes since i was a baby,so this fear isnt because its my first time, its since i have had my 2 children aged 2 and 1. we have just booked our first family holiday abroad for september 22nd to majorca, but i am so terrified it will crash,i think its just the thought of the sheer terror you would feel knowing the plane was going to crash and my babies were going to die just because i fancied a week in the sun! when was the last british holiday plane to crash?? also if there is a fault whilst your in the air can it be mended?? and what causes a plane to crash mid air?? i am so terrified right now, really really scared,we only booked it yesterday and now i dont wanna go already!

  1. Ready for this statistic? Test done by the United Kingdom, United States, and Australia show that being on an airplane is the safest place in the world. And a plane only crashes .05% of time. So i would have to say that your plane isn't going to crash.

  2. Being on a plane is safer then being in you car. Especially the way people drive in London.

  3. See:

  4. If the thought of going upsets you that much, then cancel and make other plans.  There is no sense in losing sleep over it and making your self sick...It is not worth it...go somewhere that can be reached by car or boat.
