Uk payment for USA delivery.?

Question

Does anyone know of any internet sites where I can order a gift in the UK and pay with my UK credit card but have the goods delivered to my friend in the USA?

I don't mind if it's a UK site or USA site. Most will not take payment from a card issued in a different country.

I would usually shop for the gifts myself and post them but my working hours this year don't coincide with post office opening hours!

as far as i know, you can use paypal (ww.paypal.com), this allows you to shop at particular merchants and pay paypal in your currency and paypal pays the vendor in their currency. usually ebay (www.ebay.com) sells worldwide.

you could try www.iwantoneofthose.com not only do they have some excellent gifts, but i'm sure that they will be willing to deliver international (if they dont already) if you email them.
