Uk resident after marriage?

if i marry a uk citizen in trinidad and tobago does that make me a UK resident? could I live and work in uk ?

If I have a g*y marriage to a UK citizen in canada...could I become UK resident, could I work and live in uk?

No it doesn't make you a UK resident. You would need to apply for a UK visa and wait for it to be approved and have this visa stamped into your current passport.
