  1. on your 60th birthday you will be able to claim pension credits and your DLA will not change at all, you will in fact be better off.

DLA will continue until you are 65, then it will stop, if you still have a disability which affects your mobility and for which you need care for, you can apply for attendance allowance

  2. http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/index.htm

best to check here for info

maybe contact your citizins advice for othe rinfo

  3. Hello

first thing first, now you are 60 you should transfer from Income support to Pension credit. This will mean you will get a substantial increase in your amount. If you post whether you live with anyone else I'll post the figures for you. Pension credit starts at 60 an is HIGHER than Income Support.

Second thing is other benefits NEVER impact on your DLA, you will keep getting that as long as you need help with your care and mobility. DLA means an increase in Income support or pension credit due to the addition of the diability premiums.

Your state pension will not start until you are 65, get a forecast from jobcente plus and they will tell you how much you will get when you reach 65. what ever you eventually get in a state pension will come off your pension credit. you will continue to get all 3 benefits

  4. It won't, you have to wait until you are 65 to get state pension. Sorry

  5. Assuming you live alone and and no one gets carers allowance for you, the minimum income guarantee amount for you past 60 is £174.40 per week Pension Credit plus DLA.

This may increase when you get to 65 but that would depend on how much state pension you get, which itself is determined by you NI history.  Cant say how much that would be

Your DLA will continue to be paid past 65 subject to you satisfying the normal conditions of entitlement eg you are mobility and care needs are the same etc

It is quite a complicated area and you shoudl get it checked out to make sure all the relevant factors are included within your pension credit calculation

You can also try this online calculator which is excellent
