Uk student dependent visa information?

i mstudying in uk for the last 2 and half years,i got married 2 months before.i would like to apply for my husband"s visa from india only.but i just have my passport with the valid visa till 2009 at the moment .i have no other document from uk college saying no obejection for the spouse entry.so can i apply or not right now?

It is so important that you contact the British Embassy in India to help with this. It can take some time, and the government is thinking of making it more difficult to get a visa. I would apply right away or at least seek advice from the correct people. Put "British Embassy India" into a search engine and contact the embassy ASAP. It could take a while for you to gather all the necessary documentation and prepare for an interview if required.
