Uk student wanting to transfer to the USA?

I am wondering if it is possible to transfer to a university in the USA while in the second year of degree study in the Uk. And if so what would need to be done to pursue this.

You are able to but there is a lengthy process to go through. You first would have to apply to the university as a transfer, and you would need to have your university accredited and provide transcripts. It's kind of tricky because, some classes might not be accepted as they might not apply to the major requirements in the US.

Once accepted, you need to apply for a passport and student visa to study in the US. You must give a large deposit to show the university that you are able to pay for the tuition and accommodation fees.
