hi i m trying to get uk settlement visa.my wife in uk has sent me the papers but is this necessery to get lawyer stamp on the original papers u kno wat am sayin

  1. Have the documents notarized or stamped by a lawyer so that these will have legal effect  and might contribute to the granting of the visa.


  2. Are you asking about getting a stamp of authentication (i.e., notary)?

  3. Yes. Because in the UK the solicitors and JP&#039;s will take a photo copy and on the photo copy it will state &quot;I (insert name) state that this is a true copy as sighted by me on (date)&quot; and sign it.

    Home Office usually requires at least a certified copy or the original documents.
