This is according to CNN's Wolf Blitzer. This is bad, Ukraine is no slouch militarily. If they enter ww3 could really be kicking off. I hate to bring it up but this is true.

  1. US cant get involve we so many lives already. where are we gonna get the troops? Our military power has fallen insainly and we are also in major borrowing cash$$  from other country (China). I dont think US would get involved we still have our own problem in Iraq.

  2. My question to Georgia is, why now?  South Ossetia claimed its independence in the 90's even though the international community did not recognize their claim.

If Ukraine is legitimately threatened by Russia during this conflict, I have no doubt the Eurpopean Union, NATO, and the US will become involved in this conflict.

btw NATO just completed Operation Sea Breeze, a military exercise with Ukraine and 15 other countries with Ukraine as the host country.

  3. These are former countries that fell under the USSR banter anyway. Their former Soviet countries so if they take them back then it's not in our interests to protect them. We are becoming allies with Russia.

Should Ukraine join the fight they will surely get their butts wooped. It's not a smart move.

Solve it at a table imo.

Russia cant afford a world war. People need to relax about that.

  4. guys this is a joint conspiracy by KGB and CIA KGB wants Putin to be stronger that they have achieved.CIA wants a split in the Caucasus.they also achieved their aim.Georgia oh yes they united the losers, only those who die

  5. Ukraine's big claims to fame are shooting down commercial

airliners by mistake and poisoning over a million of their own

    people with radiaton from Chernobyl...

I wouldn't worry about them. Russia can deal with them

    quite easily.

  6. It's none of our business...yet.

  7. the american military's job is to protect the american people and look out for american interests, that why we dont get involved in darfur and such, and  thats why we most likely wont get involved in Georgia, except we do have military bases there, so idk....

  8. Small countries that were once controlled by Russia are now uniting and fighting back against the super power that once had them.Karma worthy of poetry.

Georgia is an ally of the United States, we will send medical aid as well as advisers if we already haven't. Another ally of the United States is backing Georgia, the military machine in the middle east...Israel, which has advisers on ground now. With an upcoming election and dealing with Iraq/Afghanistan, I highly doubt the US will act with full blown military force anytime soon. Also on a side note, Russia wants control of the oil that Georgia has going through it's country, but so does America.

  9. Good for them. We now know for a fact that Russia's invasion has nothing to do with anything other than conquest, now that they have refused the cease fire.

  10. Ukraine knows that if Georgia fall to Russians or their puppet government, they will move on to a bigger fish (Ukraine). and recently Russia already claimed that Ukrainian region of Crimea is historically Russian and should not be There.

I am sure they will find something. What a ruthless aggressor!!

  11. Let them slug it out.

USA should not get involved militarily with any of these Russia-former Russia conflicts.

  12. no other country should get involved. it will only make things worse. they should make Russia stop. you're right, it will become everyone's problem if it escalates and Russia reestablishes its former empire. that's why Ukraine decided to support Georgia but WITHOUT being drawn into the conflict

  13. I have no problem with the area uniting to fight Russia, that means less work for us in the future.

  14. Russia would not dare to attack the Ukraine for its stance on Georgia. Ukraine still has a massive army and is a major force in South Eastern Europe.  Any attack on the Ukraine would also force the hand of the USA and the Nato alliance.  Russia is beginning to show what it really seeks. Power, influence and territorial expansion. Putin is the 21st century Stalin.  Ukraine is a shining example of freedom and democracy standing up to a tyrannical, n**i and fascist regime.  We in the West should be ashamed of ourselves for the lack of resolve in dealing with the current crisis.  The Ukrainians have shown the world that they will defend freedom and democracy. The west must now offer them the protection of the Nato umbrella.
