Ukulele with an amp?

Question

when you buy a standard ukulele does it come equiped with a amp conector or whatever its called so you can play it with an amp

Yes, a lot of companies make ukuleles with a pick-up already in them.  My first was an Ovation Applause UAE20-5E.  My friend has a Lanikai LU-21TE and another pal has a Kala.  I, of course, like mine the best.  I hook it up to a VOX Da5 AC/DC amp.  Both, uke and amp ran me about $300 all together.

nah i don't think a ukulele comes with an amp,it doesn't even have a input,but ya can always buy one of those acoustic pick-ups and fit it in..or just play in front of a microphone..easy...

Usually no, but a standard ukulele can be fitted with a pickup that gets attached for playing through an amp, such as one like this: http://www.schattendesign.com/uke.htm
