Uli Hoeness: Sergio Pinto is a disgrace to football – Bundesliga news
After being reduced to 10 men and going down by a 2-1 margin against Hannover, Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has accused http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Pinto-c33094 of playacting. Pinto was involved in an incident that led to Jerome Boateng’s red card during the first half.
Boateng got himself involved in a brawl, which initially started with Rafinha and Pinto. Rafinha committed a tackle on the winger, who rolled over four times before applying the breaks. The incident caused anger amongst both ranks as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Schulz-c9124 pushed
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toni-Kroos-c35425, prompting Jerome Boateng to react. Boateng’s reaction forced the referee to show him the exit doors within the first 45 minutes.
As a result, Bayern slumped to their second defeat of the season, having previously lost to Borussia Monchengladbach in the opening week. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Alaba-c10416 earned consolation for the Bavarian
giants.
The president advised Pinto to test his skills in Hollywood, where he could be a great hit. Hoeness reckoned that the winger overreacted after falling down, causing bitterness in what was going to be a peaceful affair.
Hoeness also criticised the referee for adapting double standards, which saw Boateng getting a red card while Schulz was just shown a yellow.
While talking to goal.com, the president further stated, "I think it is a shame, just like that player has been acting for years. He messed up the entire game through his acting. This was not a foul, the referee did not give a foul, and he [Pinto] rolled
over four times. I wonder if he can sleep at night.”
He also added, "Because of this scene, there was a red card. [Christian] Schulz, who himself was guilty of a push, gets a yellow, and thus the game was turned on its head. And he [http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pinto-c30032] acted as though he was seriously injured.”
Despite losing to the Reds on Sunday, Bayern are still leading the Bundesliga table with 22 points, three points above the reigning champions, Borussia Dortmund.
Hannover, on the other hand, have risen to fourth place on the table and are four points adrift of the Bundesliga giants.
