Uli Hoeneb: Xherdan Shaqiri’s transfer is out of question this season- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeneb has confirmed that FC Basel’s Xherdan Shaqiri’s transfer is out of question at least for this season. He admitted the fact that the club has been in constant contact with the youngster and his club officials, but negotiations

For his part, the 19-year-old feels honoured at being linked with one of the top European outfits. He reckoned that one more year at Basel could certainly help him improve upon his skills but was looking forward to play in the Bundesliga at some stage of

In an interview to a local news paper, Hoeneb enthused, "Of course, I have spoken with [Basel vice-president] Bernhard Heusler about Shaqiri. However, a transfer is not an option at the moment. There is no truth in any of those rumours."
The President further mentioned that the Swiss needs more time to settle down before he gets ready to face the massive crowds in Germany. He further told that Munich are a well balanced side and was confident about their success in the upcoming season.
