Uli Hoeness denies rumours relating to Jupp Heynckes’ exit

Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeness has denied rumours relating to an exit for manager Jupp Heynckes. He claimed that the former Bayer Leverkusen manager is going nowhere and will be at the club in the future. Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536 manager
Markus Babbel has been linked with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at the Bavarian club in the summer but the Munich giants have denied any such reports.
Jupp Heynckes has made a sudden impact at the club since his arrival in the summer this year. Bayern Munich have started the season brilliantly and have already qualified for the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Hoeness claimed that Heynckes has a binding contract with the club until the summer of 2013 and he can sign a contract extension after that as the club is impressed with the work he has done so far. He admitted that Heynckes has
the experience to guide the club through and that the team has shown a great improvement under him.
“I can assure you that we will not be making Jupp Heynckes move upstairs. We are more than grateful that he has come to us. He has a contract until June 2013 and we will not think for one second about (him not fulfilling) it,”
he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The President insisted that Bayern Munich could well be Jupp Heynckes’ last club as manager and he expects the boss not to serve in the same capacity for any other side in the league.
Hoeness further added that Bayern Munich are still the favourites to win the Bundesliga at the end of the season despite the recent dip in form. The German giants have lost the last two matches in the league to Borussia Dortmund
and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 but are still at the top of the standings table.
“I am quite certain that he will not train anybody else after us. He will stay with us until either 2013 or 2014, but only as coach and not as anything else,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will next face Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League at the City of Manchester Stadium on Wednesday. The former German champions will be looking to continue with their unbeaten run in the competition.
