Ultimate Underdog, Rey Mysterio, is placed in Top 20 WWE Superstars
As per the rankings for te current week, The Master of 619, Rey Mysterio, was placed at the 12th spot in the Power 25 list by The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science. Mysterio was dropped from the 9th place in the top 10 list for
he lost the number one contender match for WWE Championship.
The Number one contender match took place between Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio and R-Truth during Monday Night Raw on July 4. Del Rio took the victory over Mysterio and Truth and became the new number one contender. Last week, Mysterio was at the ninth place
due to tag-team victory over The Miz and Jack Swagger. The former mentor of The Miz, Alex Riley was Mysterio’s tag-team partner.
The New Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly, was placed at the 11th spot in the current week’s rankings. Last week, Kelly teamed up with Eve Torres during Monday Night Raw and faced The Bella Twins in a tag-team match. Kelly and Eve took the excellent
victory over Twins that made an upward step in the WWE Divas Champion’s rankings.
The 'SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match' participant Sheamus continued to secure his 13th place in this week’s rankings. He cruelly attacked the other 'Ladder Match' contestants during Friday Night SmackDown on July 8. Moreover, he was set
to fight against the World Champion, Randy Orton as a main event of Friday Night SmackDown. Although, The Viper, Randy Orton, took the victory due to disqualification by Christian, but Sheamus took the payback by hitting the Brogue Kick on Christian. WWE decided
to place Sheamus on the same place as he got equal victories and defeats in the SmackDown segment.
The Bitter Superstar, Cody Rhodes also made an upward jump in this week’s rankings. Cody and Ted DiBiase teamed up this week and faced the Intercontinental Champion, Ezekiel Jackson and the former United States Champion, Daniel Bryan. Cody helped Ted to
beat down Jackson and Bryan during Friday Night SmackDown. Due to tag-team victory, Cody was given the 14th spot in the current rankings.
The former United States Champion, Bryan was unlucky this week. Bryan lowered down his position from tenth to 15th place in the Power 25 list.
