Ultimately F Taylor is given a chance to keep his chin up, after winning the Green King Old Speckled Hen Stakes
At 9:25, the dirt track of Harlow made Chapelane Magic the shining star in the Green King Old Speckled Hen Stakes, after acting out fantastically for trainer F Taylor.
The black dog covering the 415 meters distance not only proclaimed himself as the purse winner, but he also devalued the most favourite hound of the show by defeating him.
As the door of trap 1 flew up, he the 5 to 1 favourite rallied through the box in urge to win the purse for his trainer and brought celebrations home.
Throughout his quest Chapelane Magic, maintained the leading position, and hit the wire in 25.64 seconds.
F J Taylor’s young champ crossed over and finished line first, along with that he defeated Pleasant Herbie by 3 whole lengths. The black dog racing through trap 4 was quite good with his early pace, but he kept himself in the middle throughout the competition.
The 10 to 1, in the race for A J Taylor reached the finish line in 25.88 seconds.
Waspinajar the fawn b***h was the third hound crossing over in the Green King Old Speckled Hen Stakes, and sadly H J Dimmock’s two-year-old was left 2 ½ lengths behind Pleasant Herbie since she got herself crowded while racing through the track.
Even though she ran quite well in the remaining last 4 lengths, but it did not help her at all, as she managed to reach the line in 26.08 seconds.
R F Leeks’s Seanis Bet, finished up fourth by 1 ½ length. The fawn b***h in her early pace got bumped in for 1 length this made her lose some pace, as she crossed the wire 12 seconds later than Waspinajar.
Crossing over in 26.20 seconds, Seanis Bet, vanquished Doctor Robert by 3 lengths and forced the blue dog to finish up fifth in the Green King Old Speckled Hen Stakes.
Trainer D Henry’s young hound started off with a very sluggish pace His lazy performance was the only reason which made him bump in for 3 lengths, and covered the required distance in 26.44 seconds.
The last hound who got hold of the wire was A Clarkes Union Jak Jakson, the black and white dog was in the race as the one to beat.
Whitewashing 7 to 4 F Union Jak Jakson, along with rest of his contenders Chapelane Magic declared himself as the purse winner of worth £1,000.
