Ultra sound and babies kick?

Question

on july 8th this tuesday im having a ultra sound done (i have had a few done so far due to high risk pregnancy) i will be almost 18 weeks,will they be able to tell if its a boy or girl?and when will i feel the first kick?thanks!!!

i started feeling my sons kicks after 20 weeks...and YES u will find out the gender!!! yay!! congrats!!   My girlfriend already found out she was having a boy and she is only 13 weeks...

They should definitely be able to tell the s*x of the baby at that next appointment, unless of course baby doesn't cooperate and open it's legs! I'm 21 weeks now and I feel baby moving several times a day and the kicks are getting strong!! I started feeling the kicks right around 17 weeks. So you will start feeling anytime in the next few weeks. (Generally women feel them for the first time around 18-22 weeks) Congratulations and good luck!!!

You should start feeling some movements very soon.  As long as the baby cooperates and the legs are open with a good view they will be able to tell but that all depends on the baby and how fast the tech is at spotting the s*x.

Yes they should be able to find out what the baby is! I found out at 16wks! I'm not sure about the kicks though. In my ultrasound my baby was jumping in my uterus like a trampoline but I couldn't feel a thing! You should feel them very soon though!
