Ultralight?

Question

what stile would you receomend if any im not a huge aircraft enthusiest so i know i dont want a plane. but i think it be fun to own an ultralight somday i just wanted some input on the subject, I was leaning toward a power glider, im in collage as a fabricator my brothers an engineer i would also like an opinion on if i built my own, obviously massive quality control being it will be air born.

I would/am getting an Aventura.  An Aventura is an Ultralite that you will have to build.  It can sit 2 people and can land on water and land.  The best model's max speed is about 78 knots (90 mph) and can stay up in the air for 4 hours.  It only takes around 150 feet to land (think of the possibilities).  Its not the prettiest looking plane but the above outways any cosmetic problem this ultralite has.  Another perk is I think it runs on unleaded gasoline which is good.   The kit price is around $32K which is on the expensive side but prebuilt ones are about $20K more.  Volusia County, FL (Daytona Beach area) owns one of them for search and resue.  Here is the link to the page that I found.  http://www.sea-plane.com/Aero%20Adventur...  Goodluck!
