Ultrasound Help? U/S Techs or anyone who knows about ultrasounds???BOY??..?

Question

I wanted to see if there are any u/s techs out there who could explain to me what angle my ultrasound pictures were taken from? They are not bottom shots but she told me from this angle iT was a boy and gave me the pictures below, Anyone and everyone who see's the pictures say it looks like a girl not a boy.

I have a son and his picture looks like a little turtle I do not see the turtle head on this one at all I see more lines.

Is there anyway the tech could have been wrong? Or do I just not understand the angle. I feel so confused.

I was 16 weeks at this u/s and paid for it, Was not my medical u/s my midwife and ob did look at the pictures and told me to wait to buy those boy clothes because they thought they seen a labia.

Looks like a boy, looking from above him, looking down between his legs.... wait for your medical ultrasound to be done and then you will know for sure, when they say it's a boy they are usually pretty sure of it, when I was pregnant with my first they knew within minutes that it was a boy, this pregnancy it is a girl and it took them an hour to get a good view.

My husband and I both agree.  This looks like a little girl to us.  You can see the "hamburger lines".  I don't see a turtle head, I just see the three lines that indicate labia.  I honestly would wait to buy anything and I'm guessing your medical u/s will show a beautiful little girl.

Looks like a pee-pee to me .. your gonna have a boy !!! Im having a girl and it sure looked alot diff.... lol

deffo looks like a boy to me as i have a us  picture like that with my third cause i didnt belive my doctor that  i was having another boy  any way lol congrats im hoping for a girl this time

No, that's a boy.  In the first picture, the arrow is over the p***s.  Not counting what's under the arrow, the s*****m kind of looks like a labia from that angle, but there's a p***s too.  So, its a boy!  Most definitely.  Congratulations!

ADDED:  If you want to trust your midwife, then you do that.  Why would you ask if you already had an answer you trusted?  It doesn't look like my boys pics, either, but you are at 16 wks.  Mine were taken at 19, 20, and 22 wks.  I see a p***s.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I guess you'll know in about 5 months, eh?  LOL

Mine looked basically like that and I'm having a boy. It was a little more obvious but i was further along. Wait until you have another ultrasound to start buying.

THat looks like a little girl...trust me i have two girls already...and having another girl...so it's pretty much looks like my sonogram...your having a girl....you have two white lines...when it's a boy there us usually something sticking out...I don't see that...

I am having a boy and I would say it looks like a boy to me. I think mine was easier to tell but I was 18 weeks along.  My doctors said anything before that can be hard to tell.

im not an expert or anything but the picture of ur second looks like my ultrasound photo and mines a girl.i had another scan a few weeks ago at 35 weeks and they confirmed it was a girl i saw everything it was so detailed.which was a relief cos even after the 1st ultrasound i thought it was a boy cos it looked like balls 2 me.but it was the outta lips.You can Neva be 100% though.But i would say its a girl from the looks of it
