Ultrasound to determine s*x at 17 weeks. did you have one around this time? was it correct? thanks?

I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks but nothing was said about the s*x, it wasn't even brought up. I had one again at 20 weeks and that's when they told me the s*x of the baby. They usually wait to get more accurate results.

with my first two I had them at 16 and 17 weeks. And they were both right. Three dots means a girl. And my son was VERY obvious. So yeah they can be correct. There is a larger margin for error so most doctors don't schedule it that early. I got lucky with my first, and with my son the ultrasound was to determine how far along I was and I was far enough along to determine the s*x. With my third I had to wait until I was about 5 months if I remember correctly.

Hmm, good question. I wonder what my baby is and when the ultrasound will be correct. I'm only 9 weeks pregnant so I won't know anytime soon but I will have to ask my doctor.

well i had mine at 20 weeks, first pregnancy was accurate in determining a boy, my current predicts twin girls i'm about 22 weeks now so no definitive conformation BUT i did have 2 ultrasounds thus far (i;m in a high risk group) and both saw 2 girls

I had mine at 19 weeks and yep...the tech was right about the baby being a girl!

I was 18 weeks with this pregnancy when they saw his little p***s. I even have a picture of it. And I was 19 weeks when I was pregnant the last time when they saw her little v****a. With my first pregnancy though they didn't determine she was a girl till I was like 24 weeks and that's because she was shy and wouldn't let us see. So, that's my experience. They are usually pretty accurate.
