Question:

Um can someone recommend an insurance company?

a few years ago my dog bit someone but everything worked out since it was provoked and the injured party took blame-however there was problems w/ the insurance and they threatened to put him to sleep but we won and they relented-now 2 yrs later they just kicked us out and we're having problems getting a new one that will cover my dog no big deal i thought but then I heard the animal control ppl can come and put him to sleep if we have no insurance plus the bank can take r house-does anyone know an insurance company that might take "dangerous" dogs...please help me i can't loose my dog he's so important to me almost like he's my own child thank you to anyone who responds im desperate

  3. NO one is going to cover a dog that has a bite history, as far as I know.   None.  I know of a company that will give liabiltiy policy if the dog has never bitten, and will exclude the coverage for that dog.  But that's not the case with you.

    Sorry, it's the house or the dog.   Glad to know your dog is important enough to lose the house over - because I think it's going to come to that.

    One option - see if you can post a $100,000 cash bond, instead of that liability policy.  Then you can get fire insurance through your state FAIR plan, and just hope no one gets hurt in your house and sues you.
