Um im a little confused about the wwe hardcore matches and stuff can someone help me?

Ok the match beetween shawn and chris at unforgiven the nonsanctioned match or watever isnt that just a hardcore match? and the same thing has an ecw extreme rules? im just confused about it

yeah its pretty much no holds barred...anything goes..

In other words, the WWE is  (kayfabe..) not responsible in any way, should one guy or the other suffer serious physical harm.  Both guys are agreeing to a match where absolutely anything goes, and no matter what they do, they can not be suspended, fired, w/e, as a result. (Since the WWE washes it's hands to the whole thing...)

I don't know, it really doesn't make that much sense. If it were really an "unsanctioned" match, then it wouldn't actually be a match, just two guys wrestling without authorization from the company, and they wouldn't be advertising it (and HBK's "I want to wrestle you so I can kill you LEGALLY" argument would be null and void).

I'm guessing it's just a fancy new name for a No Holds Barred match/Street Fight (although it wouldn't be a Hardcore match, the difference being that in a Hardcore match falls count anywhere). In any case, it seems like something to look forward to.

Oh, and don't let "hardy" (or whatever he changed his username to) get to you, he's a six year old poser whose parents accidentally let him get loose with a laptop and a bag of sugar. He should be asleep in an hour or so.
