im am very curious but what does the trash man do to them. burn them?

it gets recycled, well its plastic. it depends where you live, if it gets buried, it won't come back to haunt you.

Containing blood, I am pretty sure that they would be incinerated as to avoid bacteria and viruses that are carried in blood spreading disease.
