Umar Amin and Azhar Ali to debut at Lord’s Test for Pakistan against Australia
Umar Amin and Azhar Ali have been included to give Pakistan batting a depth in a 2 test match series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 starting from tomorrow at Lord’s, England. Pakistan has opted to play youngsters in the team after their stunning performances in the 2-day match against Leicestershire played at Leicester. Shoaib Malik and Yasir Hameed will not be playing in the first test.
Azhar Ali was born in Lahore on February 19, 1985 and plays for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khan-c71319 Research Labs in Pakistan’s domestic circle. Azhar started playing first class cricket from 2001-02 and became a regular member of his side. Azhar has played 50 first class matches and scored 2789 runs at an average above 40. He has 11 centuries and 9 half centuries to his credit. Azhar has also played 60 List A matches and scored 1667 runs at an average of 46.30. Azhar is a part time leg break spinner and took 18 wickets in the domestic circuit.
He normally plays at 2 down position for his side and is expected to come on the same number which will be vacant as Shoaib Malik and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Javed-Miandad-c66580 was impressed with the batting style of Azhar and gave him valuable advice during the emerging players’ camp.
