The Rams won the Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Tournament earlier this year, which was a huge upset, as Rawalpindi is not considered amongst the top teams in the domestic cricket of Pakistan. However, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sohail-Tanvir-c90665 turned out to be an inspirational leader
for the young Rams and led them to clinch the title.
Rams have continued to do well and have qualified for the semi-final of the on-going tournament by beating Faisalabad Wolves in their last group at the National Stadium, Karachi.

Amin claimed that Rawalpindi’s group was not that easy as Faisalabad Wolves, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Multan-c819 Tigers are competitive teams.
He said, “Yes today’s win was a good one and that has really boosted our confidence. If you look at the group, there were no weak teams in it. All the teams were competitive and every match was a tough encounter. We’re pleased with our performances in this
tournament to date.”
Amin made his Test debut at Lord's, against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 in 2010. He looked extremely impressive at times but failed to play a big innings. However, the youngster has been doing pretty well in the domestic cricket of Pakistan and looks to be an exciting asset
for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755.
The left-handed batsman said that his team’s strategy is to send the pinch-hitters up the order to take advantage of the first six overs and the middle order batsmen can come and consolidate the innings.
“I think you need your hard hitters and big shot players at the start of the innings in the first six overs to make use of the batting power play. After the first six overs you need to be more sensible with your approach and build the innings,” Amin added.
