Umbilical hernia question

i know a child's umbilical hernia is supposed to go away before they turn 2 years old.

but when did your babies go away?

mine is 4 months and still has an umbilical hernia

my child's went away at around a year. unfotunately for her her outie kinda looks like an elephants trunk.

my son is 8months old and still has a bit of black in his belly button, i dont know if this is a hernia though
