Umesh Yadav delighted with his performance against Kings XI Punjab – Cricket News Update
Delhi Daredevils’ fast bowler, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Umesh-Yadav-c94625, is delighted with his performance against Kings XI Punjab on Tuesday during the fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and wants to carry on with the momentum in future.
The Daredevils defeated http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833 by a handsome margin of five wickets to qualify for the play-off stage of the tournament and Umesh played a massive role in his team’s success. The Test cricketer picked up three wickets after conceding
merely 21 runs in his four overs.
The 24-year-old fast bowler made his Test debut last year against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 and has impressed the cricket analysts with his ability to surprise the batsmen with pace. The right-arm rookie feels that he was not performing up to the
mark before the game against Punjab but he is very happy to have regained the rhythm before the crunch matches of the tournament.
Yadav expressed, "I also think that this is one of my best performances this season. My last IPL wasn't that good but this season has been a lot better. I'll continue my progress and try to come up with even better performance."
With 20 points after 14 fixtures, Delhi has made it to the last four of the tournament with two league matches still to be played. However, Yadav made it clear that his team is not going to be complacent and will try to win every
single match before going into the elimination stage.
"We are not going to take our coming games lightly. Pressure would be slightly less but we will look for wins in remaining fixtures," the fast bowler said.
The only worry for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 can be a very destructive batsman on his day and Yadav is hopeful
that the right-hander will start to find the middle of his bat soon.
He added, "It's not necessary that if Ross is not at his best now, he would never hit his form. He is going to come up with some crucial contribution for the team."
