Umm, i keep going numb? whats wrong with me?

sometimes i'll just be sitting or standing, and the top or bottom of my foot will go into this stinging numbess. it happens like once a day now. its not like pins and needles, just a stinging numbess that is reaaally uncomfortable. is this normal???

i don't know,my left arm has been doing this constantly for a couple weeks now,so i'm interested at the answers people give

This can be normal, or it could not be normal. It all depends on your health.

Basically you have poor circulation.

You might want to discuss this with your doctor, it could be early signs of diabetes.

no you should see a doctor about that. My boyfriend had the same problem and it turned out some of his nerves in his foot was damaged..

it sounds like you have bad circulation...  you might want to ask your doctor to test you for anemia next time you're in... mostly because it can cause a variety of odd things to happen in your body.  Being a girl and a vegetarian this makes it all the more liekly.  I am both as well and I had wierd symptoms like this befroe I found out I had iron deficiency anemia- i now take iron pills.  have you had any dizziness or pounding heart or anything?
