  1. There is always the element of "scam" when you mention an acting interview with a pro scout.  Hollywood already has enuf actors for the next 20 years.  Those actors are waiting on you in every restaurant and hotel.  So when someone tells me that they have been asked to interview , i just want to know at what point the "scout" will ask for some money.  Will it be for "professional photos"?   Acting classes?  Retainer fee?

The hardest part of acting is delivering someone else's lines as if you were saying them yourself. 2nd hardest is to memorize 200 lines of dialogue so the director doesn't have to film your scenes in 15 second "chunks" because you are a great actor but can't memorize.  Marlon Brando had this problem in The Godfather.  THey finally hid his lines among the props so he could cheat and read them while the other actors were speaking.

I want you to consider one thing.  Can you find a local person who is interested in or already studying "film"?  If so, produce your own 21 minute "show" with you as the actor.  The remaining 9 minutes are for commercials in case someone buys your "movie".   You have to take it seriously.  If you do, you can judge your performance and have your friends help you (sarcasm is allowed) and improve your skills more than any scout can.

My show business days are way in the past, but maybe you will make it big.  If not, i hope you have fun.

  2. just be your self and if he or she ask's you why you are there say that you love to act and that you do it with all of your heart and if you dont do it 110 % you dont do it at all.

i met with a producer yesturday and thats what i said he said it was a great answer
