when petco has there dollar per gallon sale..is it for anysize tank?

up to there 55 gal tanks. they just had one here so I was looking at them. next time I am going to buy 2 - 55 gal tanks. hope this answered your question.

Yes, I'd assume it is for any gallon tank.
