OK, so heres the deal.. me and my friend are in this competition type thing... its like who can do the most extreme thing WITH parental permission (Peircings, Hair modification, Pets, Freedom amount etc...) and its like this CONSTANT challenge between us. on gets something the other just like HAS to match it or beat it. we dont mind it and like we still get along and understand eachother but im not too sure i this is a 'healthy' friendship or not... what do you think? THANKS!! =]

  1. Just don't hurt yourself in the process!  Better to be competitive with some one you know will still be your friend than make enemies!!

  2. When the relationship starts to only resolve around the competition and not the actualy friendship itself - then it is unhealthy.  If the two of you can hang out and talk without talking about conquests or trying to out do each other, then it is becoming a bit unhealthy

  3. leave her!

  4. It might be a little unhealthy in the fact athat y'all could end up doing something that you regret, but I don't think there is anything wrong with competition.

My friend and I once faought over who would cut their hair shorter. (I kicked her @ss)

  5. it seems pretty strange to me...but who am i to judge

    i wouldn't consider it a "healthy" friendship

  6. if you and your friend dont think anything of it, then sure, why not?

  7. it doesn't sound to healthy, although you get along it's still not good to be competing are you subconsciously like this with all your friends or just her?

  8. Sounds to me a little like a competition to see whose parents care the least about their kid -- I mean, if your parents say it's okay for you to jump off a cliff and kill yourself, do you win or lose?
