Very difficult to know, because the channels are not always in the same place on cable systems, they vary by region. Comcast 14 in one city will be different than in another.

Identify the channel name, except for local stations, channels on DirecTV are the same for the whole Country. Look it up in a tv listing such as tv.yahoo.com.
