Ummm....really confusing for me?

Question

umm....black is the absense of colors right...but then black is a color.....so if you got rid of that color, there would be nothing, but then beyond nothing, there has to be a color, which is black, WHICH IS A COLOR...so how does this work when black is the absence of all colors when it is a color....

ok the reason your getting confuses is your confusing color with pigment.  (not entirely but thats easy way to differentiate)

aaaaanyway color is seen as the war the light is bouncing off of an object.  so absence of light absence of color.  You do raise an interesting question about this crayon though ;-)

its not a colour, its a tone
